La Forge Ancienne dates back to the 16th Century and as the name suggests was indeed the local Forge. Nestled amongst the rolling french countryside and sitting on 10 acres of private grounds.
We have also just opened a small and friendly livery. With newly constructed large stables and acres of wonderful pasture land, what better way to sit in the sun over looking these beautiful animals!
The Historic town of Aurignac is a 10 minute drive away and can provide wonderful Boulongeries, Patisseries, Bars, Restaurants and also has a Bank and Post Office.
Within 50 min drive from Toulouse Airport and 1hr 30 from Pau Airport, both offering car hire.
We are situated close to the Stunning Pyrenees Mountains. The Mountains and Spain can be reached within 1 hours drive from us. Our closest ski resort is only a 50 minute drive away so if Skiing in the morning and lying on the Beach in the afternoon sounds a great itinerary then come and stay with us!
The Atlantic & Mediterranean coast 2 hrs drive.
We are ideally situated for visits to the famous Historic Cities of Lourdes and Carcassonne.

Accommodation 'La Grange de Loustalet' +4 personnes
Our Self Catering Gite 'La Grange de Loustalet' is newly renovated in the first storey of an original Barn.We have retained original features including exposed stone and oak beams yet also offers a fully equipped Kitchen, comfortable Living and Dining area, 10m2 Balcony overlooking the grounds and even satellite TV. It offers a spacious double bedroom. Within the living and dining area there is the optional use of a large double sofa bed, sleeping an extra 2 adults or children if required. It is reached via its own Private Driveway and access.
Horse Riding Holiday or bring you own Horse on Holiday with you!
Perhaps you share our love of horses and what better way to experience the sites and wonderful scenery than on horse back!
We can offer you a tailor made holiday including our Gite and trekking out. We have carefully selected a qualified guide who has ran an established and successful business for many years and will cater for all levels of ability. How much or how little you wish to be on a horse for your stay is entirley your decision , from 1 - 6 hours a day ,from 1-5 days a week. House Hunting Holiday
If like us you have fallen in love with France and its relaxing feel then what better way than to stay in a relaxing environment and avoid the stresses and strains of trying to tie it all together with viewings and accommodation! We have a great knowledge and understanding of the area and locality and we have links to a wonderful English speaking agent who can make sure that you view only properties that are of interest and plan your day productively so that you are home sitting on the Balcony in time to watch the sun setting over the fields, drinking a glass of famous French Wine.
Livery 'Pension Pure'
We are in the process of establishing a small and intimate Livery. We are on-site 24 hours a day and we can currently offer brand new large stables with secure, locked tack room . We have acres of quality Pastures and the hay we use is our own. We use a wonderful farrier and local vet who is fantastic. We even have a great contact for a 'Horse Healer'
We will also be creating a large Sand Menage and Jumping Paddock, this will be ideal for excercising your horse. The Office and Shower/wc area will be finished this year also providing tea and coffee facilities. What ever type of Livery you are seeking be that Full, DIY or something in the middle we can offer all. Perhaps you are moving to the area and are looking for a temporary home for your horses, whilst you settle in or perhaps you want a more permanent solution to housing your horses?
